You can add a make up on the student Absences page.
Go to the main Students page and select the student. Then click Absences in the left menu.
To add a make up, look for Add Make Up under the Actions button for the absence being made up.
You can now log the make up. Select the date and class (if applicable) and enter a comment. If you are scheduling a FUTURE make up, DO NOT check the Make Up Completed box.
If you are logging a make up that already happened then check the box.
You can also email the details of this makeup to the student by checking the Email Make Up Info box.
Now click the Save Make Up button.
When you schedule a make-up for a certain class, that student will show up in the Class Manager on that date for that class. The teacher can mark the make up as completed by clicking the Made Up button.
The student absences page shows you the status of the make up.
You can mark an existing make up as complete using the Edit option.
Check the Make Up Completed box and click Save Make Up.
The status is updated.

Is there a way for parents to schedule their child's makeup class through their DSP parent portal?
Could the system send a scheduled makeup reminder email like it does for Trials?
Hello Jessi Rohr!
Thanks so much for reaching out to us. As of right now, that is not an available option. However, you are able to submit your suggestion in our new Idea Portal (More > Ideas). The Development Team will be monitoring the Idea Portal for possible future enhancements. Once you have submitted your idea, you can keep track of its progress. You will even be notified by email if that idea goes live. :)
Hi Asiah Jones. Having parents schedule make-ups in the Parent Portal isn't an available option. Make-ups would need to be scheduled on the Admin side.
Please email us at support@dancestudio-pro.com if you have any other questions.

Can you set make up classes to be used within a certain amount of time. (i.e. if you dont make up your classes within 30 days they expire?)
